Abuja Feeding Program: How the program works

The Abuja Feeding Program was started to provide food for at least 500 Nigerians living at the Federal Capital Territory of the country, on a monthly basis. With rising inflation, increase in cost of food, and over 90 million citizens living below the poverty line, access to quality food – or any food at all – is getting increasingly difficult for people, especially children, the aged and the disabled. Feeding 500 people every month is just the first phase – our goal, as we get more finance, is to provide soup kitchens all over the country and then extend into other African countries.
